Garlic and Chili Oil
My Pantry ingredients used
1 cup aleppo pepper flakes
1/4 cup sesame seeds
2 cups grape seed oil
Additional ingredients required (some are optional)
10-15 cloves of garlic (to your taste)
For the oil
Peel and finely slice the garlic, bring the oil to a medium low heat and add the garlic, watching the whole time and adjusting the heat so the garlic is slowly frying, turning golden and crisp.
Once the garlic is golden brown and the frying bubbles are slowing, turn off the heat completely adding the pepper flakes and sesame seeds while gently stirring.
Let this sit in the pot, off the heat until completely cool and then pour into a large glass jar with a lid. Store in a cool dark place and should last a couple of months....but be warned, it is so delicious you won’t have it that long.
